The aim of this event is to:

• Present the latest findings in diabetes research.
• Attract more talented researchers to JDRF's work.
• Provide a framework for cooperation and alliances.

The event will include a guest lecture by C. Ronald Kahn M.D., Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Vice Chairman of Joslin Diabetes Center.

This will be followed by short speeches on various topics of JDRF research, and by break-out sessions where participants can conduct more in-depth discussions.

The lectures are open to the public, while the break-out sessions are reserved for students and researchers.
