The Sears Tower in Chicago, USA, the tallest building in North America and the third tallest building in the world, has added itself to the list of famous buildings around the world that will light up in blue on 14 November to mark the first United Nations observed World Diabetes Day. Thanks to the efforts of the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE), the two large antennae on top of the 110-story high Tower will light up in blue on the evening of 14 November.
