The Maltese Diabetes Association recently participated in the Annual General Assembly of the International Diabetes Federation - European Region held in Dublin. This was preceded by the Together we are a stronger meeting which focused on Children with Diabetes and the UN Declaration on Diabetes.
The UN Resolution on diabetes was endorsed in December 2006 by the United Nations General Assembly and has designated the 14 November as the UN World Diabetes Day.
