World Diabetes Day

The Sadat City Institution organized World Diabetes Day for the people of Sadat City in collaboration with Harpur Memorial Hospital (the city branch) on the 14th of December, 2009.

The day had:

1- A health awareness session about the symptoms and complications of Diabetes Mellitus.
2- Random Blood Glucose analysis for the city people (attendants of the day). Free.
3- Suspected cases examination also for free.
4- Prescription and distribution of free medications to discovered cases.
5- Referral of the complicated cases to the Hospital in order to be managed.

This day was supervised by Dr. Meichel Fahmy; the Hospital General Manager
