WDD campaign partner set to launch finger hula-hoop

Official World Diabetes Day partner Sanofi Aventis is launching its Hoop4Diabetes campaign in support of World Diabetes Day 2009. The campaign uses the blue circle (the universal symbol for diabetes and World Diabetes Day) as a focal point to spread awareness through a fun new game: the finger hoop. The campaign will see 1000s of finger-sized hula-hoops dispersed globally to engage the general public and get them thinking about diabetes.

The official campaign partner will launch its www.hoop4diabetes.com website on November 10th. The site will contain easy-to-understand information about diabetes and give people the opportunity to watch and upload video content.
