In the USA, Spa4Diabetes, a friend of the World Diabetes Day 2008 campaign, has responded to the International Diabetes Federation's call on groups worldwide to raise awareness of diabetes on World Diabetes Day 2009 by teaming up with heart and breast cancer groups to organize a joint awareness event in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Campaign posters now available

Members of staff of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), the leader of the World Diabetes Day campaign, will be present at the 69th Scientific Sessions of the American Diabetes Association (ADA), taking place in New Orleans on June 5-9. All  delegates attending the meeting are warmly invited to visit the IDF stand to find out more about the World Diabetes Day 2009-2013 campaign and other IDF projects and activities.
